My photos are classic, timeless and true moments. I love showcasing the beauty of our state, Arkansas and the natural light to capture these candid moments.
Unlike the traditional "cheese" smiles, I strive to document the natural interactions and emotions that make each family unique. So be prepared for laughter, playful hugs, and maybe even a few impromptu dance moves during our sessions!
My journey into photography started in high school when I fell head over heels for the magic of developing film in the darkroom. That's where my passion for capturing moments through the lens truly took root.
After college, I spent twelve years in the corporate world, but once I became a mom, I knew it was time to follow my heart and pursue photography full-time!

When I'm not busy photographing families and children, you can find me cherishing precious moments with my own family. We love indulging in activities like fly fishing, golfing, horseback riding, and hiking. These adventures not only bring us closer together but also inspire me to capture the joy and love shared by other families.

What inspired you to become a photographer?
God. He called me to be a photographer years ago but I didn't listen. Once I became a Mom, I physically tried to go back to my corporate job but he showed me multiple times that that was not my path anymore. I'm so grateful that I took the leap of faith!
How would you describe your photography style?
Timeless. Classic and True to Life.
I want the memory in your mind from the photo experience to be reflected in the photos. While I do enhance the photo with some adjustments, I do not add items/things in that were not there.
What do you love most about working with clients?
I love being invited into their lives. Watching the season of their life change, knowing that those moments are being captured. I receive so much joy when families keep inviting me back year after year. It's the biggest compliment!
Can you share a memorable moment from one of your photo sessions?
Gosh, the most memorable moment is from a home birth experience. I was invited into a private setting to capture a magical birth. I'll never forget, about an hour after the baby arrived the Dad looked at me and said, "Thank you, your presence was so peaceful and powerful."
What are some things you enjoy outside of photography?
When I'm not with my family or spending time with them, you'll find me in the garden, hiking or traveling. What you might not know is that, I grew up on a farm in rural Kansas. Being outdoors is in my blood and I'm always up for an adventure!
Why would you believe photography is important or meaningful?
